Humanoid Robot Genesis Eno Is Unveiled

French startup Genesis AI, which counts former Google CEO Eric Schmidt among its investors, has unveiled a humanoid robot, Eno, that doesn’t quite resemble a human.

Genesis AI emphasizes that the robot is not tied to classic form factors: its design is minimalist and focused on functionality rather than human imitation.

The key element of the system is the Gene AI model—a “robotic brain” that controls Eno as an autonomous agent. According to the company, the system is capable of not just executing commands, but also interpreting goals, adapting to changing conditions, remembering context, and completing multi-step tasks.

One of Eno’s features will be an optional screen with a cognitive interface. It displays the system’s status, actions, and interpretation in real time. This approach, according to the developers, should increase the transparency of the robot’s decisions and simplify human interaction with the autonomous system.

Eno is designed around a mobile base on wheels. Above it is a vertical modular structure with segments that allow for adjustment of the height and working radius. When inactive, the elements fold, reducing storage space.

The robotic arms are equipped with Genesis AI’s proprietary robotic hands, which replicate the kinematics and functionality of the human hand. This allows the robot to use tools and equipment originally designed for humans without specialized adaptations to the environment.

Genesis AI plans to begin production and deployment of Eno by its customers by the end of 2026. Initially, the robot will be used in manufacturing, laboratories, and logistics, followed by hospitals, hotels, and the consumer sector. Development of additional variants is underway.
