Sony Released A 27-Inch Gaming Monitor For PlayStation With A Charger For DualSense

First announced back in November 2025 at State of Play, the monitor is finally available. It’s a 27-inch Fast IPS display with a 2560×1440 (QHD) resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240Hz on compatible PCs and Macs.

An interesting feature of the monitor is its built-in charging for the DualSense and DualSense Edge wireless controllers.

The monitor uses an IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It supports refresh rates of up to 120 Hz with PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro consoles, and up to 240 Hz with PCs and Macs. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync Premium technology, and HDR with automatic HDR tone mapping.

The monitor features two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. It also offers two USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port, which can be used with PlayStation Link adapters and other devices. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack and built-in speakers. The monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that allows the display to rotate, including into portrait orientation.

The price in the US is $349, and in Japan it’s ¥49,980 (approximately $340 after tax). Sales began on August 27 at Best Buy and PlayStation Direct.
