Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Drivers For Windows 10 To Cease Production In October

Nvidia announced it would stop producing GeForce Game Ready drivers for Windows 10 starting in October 2026. Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025, but almost a year later, gamers continue to use the operating system.
Nvidia previously committed to supporting Windows 10 for one year after Microsoft’s official end-of-support date of October 14, 2025. Windows 10 computers will not lose all Nvidia driver updates overnight. After October 2026, the company will transition supported GeForce hardware to quarterly security updates—these releases will include important security fixes and will be released until October 2029.
The release of the first standard Game Ready driver without Windows 10 support is scheduled for November 2026. Nvidia published a plan to support Windows 10 back in 2025.
