Marshall Unveils Milton ANC Over-Ear Headphones

Marshall has introduced the Milton on-ear headphones with active noise cancellation. They boast support for advanced technologies and codecs, as well as larger drivers than the Major V, delivering higher-quality sound.

The intelligent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system in these headphones continuously analyzes your surroundings and automatically adjusts the level of noise cancellation. This means the headphones adapt to a variety of environments—from a quiet café to a noisy street or the din of the subway. And when you need to hear your surroundings, for example, while placing an order or hearing an announcement, the Transparency feature allows you to perceive external sounds without removing your headphones.

The new Marshall headphones also support Adaptive Loudness, which adjusts the sound profile based on the volume level and surrounding environment for rich, detailed music.

Additionally, the headphones feature a proprietary Soundstage spatial audio system. Activated via the Marshall app, it expands standard stereo sound, creating a more spacious and immersive listening experience.

Milton ANC is powered by 32mm drivers with a wide frequency range of 20Hz to 40kHz. The headphones support Bluetooth 6.0 and LE Audio, and work with popular codecs such as SBC, AAC, LC3, and LDAC.

Battery life with active noise cancellation enabled is approximately 50 hours, or 80 hours without it. The battery is replaceable, meaning the headphones’ life can be extended if needed. Device discovery is supported across the Apple and Google ecosystems. Marshall Milton went on sale May 19th for $229.
