Oppo Pad Mini Introduced

Today, Xiaomi unveiled the compact and powerful Redmi K Pad 2 tablet in China, and today, Oppo unveiled its competitor, the Oppo Pad Mini, with the same 8.8-inch display. However, while the Redmi K Pad 2 is powered by the Dimensity 9500 SoC, the Oppo Pad Mini features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.

The Oppo Pad Mini tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which boasts high performance, coupled with fast LPDDR5X RAM and built-in UFS 4.1 storage. The software platform is ColorOS 16, which includes a suite of applications, including the WPS office suite, file management, and cross-device collaboration apps.

The Oppo Pad Mini features an 8.8-inch AMOLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2520 × 1680 pixels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of 60 to 144 Hz, and its peak brightness is 1600 cd/m².

The main camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, and the front camera is 8-megapixel. The battery capacity is 8,000 mAh, and the charging rate is 67 W.

The starting price of the new Oppo product is $545 (8/256 GB).
