The Big Presentation of Samsung Flagships Will Take Place on February 9: Here’s What They Will Show
The South Korean company Samsung on February 1 will present a number of new gadgets. For the first time in several years, the event will be held live in San Francisco, USA.
The main expectation is the Galaxy S23 smartphones, but Samsung is preparing some more interesting things with them.
Smartphone Galaxy S23
According to leaked information, the new smartphone will be similar to last year’s Samsung Galaxy S22 in many ways. The smartphones will have the same 6.1-inch FHD+ screen, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and 8GB of RAM. The camera will have three sensors – the main (50 MP), ultra-wide-angle (12 MP) and a 10 MP telephoto lens with a triple optical zoom.
Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung has significantly improved the video capabilities for its upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The quality of portrait video with background blur on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be much better than its predecessor. The new smartphone will be able to record portrait video at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second. At the same time, the predecessors record such videos in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Earlier it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series can record regular videos in 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.
Samsung has not only increased the resolution in the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s portrait video mode, but also improved subject separation and background blur quality.
Galaxy Book 3 Ultra
The top version of the Galaxy Book3 Ultra is equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900H processor, GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 3K AMOLED screen, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of flash storage. The price of this version will be about 3800 euros. Other versions will also be presented, with an Intel Core i7-13700H processor and a GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card. The base version includes a laptop with a Core i7-13700H processor.
New Galaxy Tabs and Galaxy Buds
Samsung won’t be introducing new headphones this time around, as the Galaxy Buds 2 were introduced in the summer of 2021 and the Buds 2 Pro a year later. That is, new headphones can show this summer.
The release of the Galaxy Tab S9 tablet may be delayed, possibly due to economic uncertainty and low sales of the Tab S8 series.
Other products are likely to appear at later Samsung events.
