Customizable DualSense Edge Controller Sony for PS5 Coming January 26th
Sony has announced a release date for its customizable Xbox Elite controller counterpart – DualSense Edge sales will start on January 26, 2023.
On that day, the controller for PlayStation 5 and PC will be available for purchase in the PlayStation Direct store for residents of the US, UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The DualSense Edge will reach other retail stores on February 23rd.
The DualSense Edge is a more advanced version of the regular DualSense with more personalization options. The gamepad offers remappable buttons, customizable trigger travel, adjustable deadzone and stick sensitivity, replaceable mushrooms and entire stick modules, and additional replaceable paddles on the rear panel. In addition, you can install multiple profiles with different controls and switch between them.
The DualSense Edge comes with a braided USB cable, a protective carrying case, three pairs of mushrooms of different shapes (flat, indented and cone), as well as two sets of petals (half-dome and lever) and a retainer for connecting the charging cable. Replacement stick modules can be purchased separately. The cost will be $19.99 / €24.99 / £19.99.
