Electric Crossover Cadillac Vistiq 202 Announced
The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq, the automaker’s latest all-electric SUV, has been unveiled. The car was announced nearly a year ago, and now all the details have been revealed.
According to The Verge, the Vistiq adopts many of the design elements first seen on the Lyriq, such as the flat door handles, diamond-shaped grille, indentations on the side panels, and the shape of the headlights and taillights.
The Vistiq’s windshield is more reminiscent of the Escalade IQ, which will also go on sale next year, but the Vistiq is aimed at a more budget-conscious buyer, so its engines are less powerful than those of the Escalade IQ, but they provide decent acceleration and a significant driving range.
The Vistiq will be available in three trim levels at launch: Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury. The top-of-the-line Platinum trim will follow later. All-wheel drive will be standard across the lineup, thanks to a dual-motor powertrain producing 445 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. In Velocity Max mode, the EV accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds.
Active steering with rear-wheel steering provides good maneuverability. Large 23-inch wheels are optional.
The 2026 Vistiq will be offered in three trim levels: Luxury, Sport, and Premium luxury. A fourth trim level, called Platinum, will be available next summer. The Cadillac Vistiq starts at $78,790, and production will begin early next year at General Motors’ Spring Hill, Tennessee, plant.
