Elon Musk Promised To Accelerate The Cybertruck To 100 km/h Per 3 Seconds
Elon Musk has confirmed the ability of the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, which was announced when this extraordinary electric vehicle was announced four years ago. Most likely, the three-engine version of the pickup truck will have similar characteristics, so simpler cars will take a little longer to exchange this speed.
At the quarterly reporting event, they talked about an annual production program of 250,000 Cybertruck pickups, but it can be assumed that the company will not reach this level until the end of next year.
The pickup’s ability to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than three seconds is not a revelation to those who remember the events of four years ago, when the Cybertruck was officially announced. However, management’s commitment to delivering similar dynamic performance to series production is worth mentioning. During a podcast this week, Elon Musk explained that the Cybertruck weighs almost 3,200 kg, but in some modifications the weight barely exceeds 2,700 kg. From this point of view, the Tesla pickup will be comparable to the Ford F-150 Lightning, but the Cybertruck will have a higher payload capacity.
The American company Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 as a developer and manufacturer of electric vehicles and related technologies. In addition to electric vehicles, the company produces batteries and electric motors using its own technology and sells them to other automobile companies, in particular Toyota and Daimler.
