Lamborghini To Show It’s First Electric Supercar On August 18
Lamborghini will unveil an electric supercar concept on August 18 as part of Monterey Car Week.
On the eve of the event, the Italian automaker posted a teaser on social networks, which partially showed the design of the novelty. And although this is still a concept, we will be able to at least preview the design of the car.
The sketch shows the upper part of the novelty in profile – you can appreciate the silhouette and shape of the glazing. It seems that the company decided to keep the common style known from its gasoline supercars with a predominance of sharp edges, at the same time making the body contours smoother – for better streamlining, which directly affects the range of battery cars.
The first electric Lamborghini has been officially confirmed to be a 2+2 seating grand tourer. Thus, we are talking about a model not as practical as the Urus crossover, but much more suitable for everyday use than the traditional coupes and roadsters of the Italian brand.
There are no technical details at the moment. And even if in a few days Lamborghini announces some specific facts and figures, they will be preliminary, since the serial electric car should become only in 2028
