Gigabyte Unveils Powerful Gaming A18 Pro Laptop

Gigabyte has unveiled the Gaming A18 Pro, a gaming laptop featuring a slim design, a large 18-inch display, AI support, and powerful components.
The new laptop is powered by an Intel Core 7 240H processor and discrete graphics up to a mobile GeForce RTX™ 5080. For efficient cooling, it features the WINDFORCE INFINITY EX intelligent cooling system with dual fans and 3D VortX technology for three-dimensional airflow distribution. A completely silent 0 dB mode is activated under light load.
The 18-inch display features a 2.5K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. It also boasts 100% DCI-P3 color gamut (which will be especially useful for both gamers and designers), as well as a fast 3 ms response time. The chassis is a slim 20 mm thick for a gaming device and can be opened to 180 degrees.
One of the new laptop’s interesting features is its proprietary AI assistant, GiMATE. It lets you control certain settings with voice commands, such as performance, power, and backlight modes. You can also use the MUX Switch to switch between integrated and discrete graphics.
Despite its gigantic display, the 20mm-thick laptop still manages to feel portable. The keyboard features a curved Golden Curvature design (sounds like the name of a premium coffee), larger keys, and 1.7mm of travel. Plus, the lid opens 180 degrees. It’s convenient if you’re sitting with six people watching a presentation on their laps or showing a prototype to a client in a cramped coffee shop.
