Pac-Man Is Being Filmed
It is reported on the development of a film based on the classic arcade video game Pac-Man. The film adaptation will be filmed in a live-action format.
The project is produced by Bandai Namco Entertainment and Wayfarer Studios. The original idea of Chuck Williams, who produced Sonic the Movie, will be taken as the basis.
There is no further information about the feature film. The film will feature live actors. The cast, screenwriter and director for the new project have not yet been approved.
The game Pac-Man appeared in 1980 and began to quickly gain popularity. According to the plot of the game, Pac-Man is in a maze, where he collects “bonuses”, while the hero needs to run away from colored ghosts. With each level it is more difficult to pass the game. Players begin to think over their every next move.
