Oppo Introduced Reno12 And Reno12 Pro

Oppo has announced the addition of two new models to its Reno series of smartphones – Reno12 and Reno12 Pro. The new products are the first in the series to receive a display curved on all four sides.

Each model is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. However, the new products differ in the chips used. Reno12 Pro is based on an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor with a frequency of up to 3.35 GHz and an Immortalis-G715 graphics accelerator. And the younger model Reno12 became the first smartphone with an eight-core Dimensity 8250 chip with a frequency of up to 3.1 GHz, manufactured using the TSMC N4 4-nm process technology.

The main difference between the models was the cameras. The Reno12 Pro has a 50MP primary sensor with a Sony IMX890 (1/1.56-inch) sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Reno12 has a 50 megapixel sensor (1/1.95 inch), and the rest of the sensors are the same, as well as 50 megapixel front cameras. The photo app has AI features. Neural networks will help remove unnecessary objects from a photo or replace the background.

Smartphones also differ in processor. The junior model was equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8250 processor, and the Pro version was equipped with a more powerful Dimensity 9200+.

Both models have the same 5000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging. According to Oppo, after 1,000 charging cycles, the batteries will retain 95% of their original capacity.
