Vivo Unveils Its Most Advanced Smartphone X200 Pro
Vivo has unveiled its flagship smartphones, the X200 Pro and the more compact X200 Pro mini. Both new products are based on the latest flagship processor from MediaTek, and are equipped with capacious batteries and will be available in retail in several configurations with different amounts of RAM and internal storage.
Vivo X200 Pro is made of aluminum and glass. Its frame has a flat profile all around. The display is presented in the “Quad Curved” format, which means micro-bends. In other words, it is mostly flat, but the edges are curved at 90 degrees. There is also a hole for the front camera inside the screen. The display bezels are very thin and uniform. The back panel is mostly flat, but also has rounded corners, similar to the screen.
On the back, there is a large camera module of a circular shape. It includes three cameras developed with the support of ZEISS. The device offers a 6.78-inch QHD+ (2800 x 1260) LTPO AMOLED screen. This panel supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and is also compatible with HDR10+ content.
The smartphone is powered by the brand new Dimensity 9400 chip from MediaTek. It comes in 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM variants, as well as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage models. It should be noted that there is no option to expand the memory.
The real upgrade is the new 200-megapixel Zeiss APO periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm focal length and f/2.67 aperture. The main camera is complemented by a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor (f/2.0). The front-facing 32-megapixel camera (f/2.0) is located in a hole at the top of the display.
Another feature is the powerful 6000 mAh battery. Both cases support fast wired charging with a power of up to 90 W and wireless charging with a power of up to 30 W.
Vivo X 200 Pro is available in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, 16GB RAM + 1TB storage, and a special edition with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage and satellite connectivity. The price of the smartphone starts at $750.
