Poco Pad Presented: The Brand’s First Tablet
The Poco brand has unveiled its debut tablet, Poco Pad, with a 12.1-inch high-resolution screen. The new product is distinguished by its wide functionality, allowing it to be used for entertainment, games, watching streaming video, as well as for office work and study.
The Poco Pad features a 12.1-inch 2.5K (2650 x 1600 pixels) high-resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 600 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Poco Pad is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory, and also supports microSD cards up to 1.5 TB. The tablet runs Android 14 OS with HyperOS interface, which offers a number of convenient features for collaboration between multiple devices – they need to be linked together.
For video calls, as well as photo and video shooting, the tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel main camera, both of which support video recording at 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Four speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio technologies provide cinematic-level stereo sound. The massive 10,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging while ensuring long battery life.
The first buyers will be able to purchase the tablet for $300, its sales have already started. Later the price will rise to $330.
