Motorola showcased the Razr Fold foldable smartphone at MWC 2026 and revealed some details about it. Judging by the specifications, this is a flagship model, not a budget alternative, which is lacking in this category.
The Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch external display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels. This panel features a 165Hz refresh rate, up to 6,000 nits of brightness, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, 10-bit color, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 provides protection.
Inside is a nearly square 8.09-inch LTPO display with an 8:7.2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2484 x 2232 pixels. It operates in the 1–120 Hz range and reaches 6,200 nits of brightness. The panel is Pantone-certified and supports Dolby Vision and 10-bit color.

The Razr Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. It ships with Android 16.
The case thickness is 4.55 mm when unfolded and 9.89 mm when folded. It weighs 243 g and is IP49 water-resistant.
A 6,000 mAh battery provides battery life, supporting 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. 5W reverse wireless charging is also available. Some regions will include a 90W TurboPower adapter in the box.

The Motorola Razr Fold, bundled with the Moto Pen Ultra stylus, will cost a hefty €1,999; the smartphone will first go on sale in Europe, with North America to follow “in the coming months.” The manufacturer hasn’t specified the price of the device without the stylus.
