EU Orders Automakers To Limit The Speed Of All New Cars 

Europe introduces mandatory speed limits for cars. Under the new rules, all new vehicles sold on the European market must be equipped with Intelligent Speed ​​Assistance (ISA) electronic speed limiter. This function recognizes road signs and offers the driver the best speed. If you exceed the speed, the system will notify you of the need to follow the rules of the road. This will be done with steering wheel vibration or sounds. If you ignore the advice of ISA, then it will forcibly reduce the speed of the machine to the recommended rate.

It is noted that reprogramming the ISA device or dismantling it will not work. All travel information will be recorded and, if necessary, accessed by the police.

The new EU rules are designed to improve road safety. It is no secret that speeding is one of the main causes of accidents, about 30% of fatal accidents occur precisely because of non-compliance with the permitted speed limit.
