EA Has Delayed The Release Of The Magical Shooter Immortals Of Aveum

The magical first-person shooter Immortals of Aveum from Ascendant Studios and EA Originals has been delayed by a month.

Initially, the game was expected to release on July 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Now the premiere of Immortals of Aveum is expected on August 22. The delay will allow the team to fully realize their vision, including further polishing, finalizing optimizations for all platforms, and ensuring a strong launch.

The IGN edition adds that the developers also decided to transfer Immortals of Aveum in order to “add more functionality to the PC.” Probably, we are talking about additional features for the PC version of the game.

According to the plot, players in the role of battle mage Jack will join the Order of the Immortals of Lucium, become an elite Magnus Triarch and stop the Eternal War for magic in the fantasy world of Aveum.

Contrary to the impression that has been formed from recent trailers, Immortals of Aveum will not be a completely linear game. The shooter will include elements of metroidvania, spacious locations and areas for free exploration.
