Baldur’s Gate III Full Version Will Be Available On Mac In September

The epic role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios will receive its third major update on September 21. The authors reported this on their Twitter.

The creators have not yet published a list of changes for the upcoming patch, but it has already become known that this update will add support for the final version of the game on Mac.

The game was previously available as a limited Early Access version where players could only play through the first act of the game. Now Mac gamers will be able to continue playing until the end of the third act.

The developers were unable to launch the game on Xbox due to technical issues related to the inability to provide the same functionality on all consoles, including the less powerful Series S. However, after a meeting with the head of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer, the developers were allowed to release the game for the Series S without split-screen functionality, but with the ability to cross-save progress between Steam and Xbox. The exact release date for the Xbox version of the game is still unknown, but it is expected to arrive by the end of the year.
