DJI unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4P camera in Cannes. The device retains the design of previous models in the series, combining a camera on a stabilizing attachment with a control handle. The announcement came three weeks after the presentation of the base Osmo Pocket 4.
While the standard Pocket 4 is aimed at content creators and vloggers, the Pocket 4P is designed for professional independent filmmakers. Thanks to its powerful yet compact hardware, the Pocket 4P can replace much of the heavy equipment used in film production. This is why this product was announced at the Cannes Film Festival.
DJI hasn’t released the full technical specifications of the new camera. The manufacturer will likely reveal them later. However, the company did highlight the key features of the Pocket 4P.
Speaking of color reproduction, DJI noted support for 10-bit D-Log2 color profiles for professional color grading. Thanks to its more powerful sensor, the Pocket 4P camera allows you to capture night and indoor scenes with greater detail and a wider dynamic range.
The price and availability date for the Osmo Pocket 4P have not yet been announced.
