SpaceX Launched Two Rockets Into Space Less Than Four Hours Apart

SpaceX successfully launched two Falcon 9 rockets from the spaceport in Florida. The interval between launches was less than four hours.

The first rocket launched at 17:52 local time. On board was the European telecommunications satellite Eutelsat 36D. The launch took place from the NASA Space Center. Kennedy. The second rocket took off at 21:30 from Cape Canaveral, Florida. It launched 23 Starlink satellites into orbit. The interval between starts was 3 hours 38 minutes. The third rocket was scheduled to take off at 10:30 pm ET from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, but deteriorating weather prevented that.

The first stages of both launched rockets softly landed on barges in the ocean approximately 10 minutes after launch. They will be reused. The return of the second stage was the 260th return in seven years since the first successful return of the Falcon 9 first stage. It was the 18th return for one stage and the 12th for the other. The record belongs to the other two Falcon 9 stages, which were used 19 times each.

Unfortunately, however, the company announced that the third launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California was delayed due to adverse weather conditions.

In any case, two launches less than two hours apart is already a very significant achievement.
