Samsung Will Show New Foldable Galaxy Smartphones On July 26
Samsung has announced a new Galaxy Unpacked presentation. This year it will be held on July 26 under the slogan “On the Flip Side”. During the event, the company will introduce the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 foldable smartphones.
The South Korean tech giant is also expected to reveal the Galaxy Watch 6 and Samsung Tab S9 tablets. We do not exclude that there will be other announcements, but nothing is known about them.
The foldable smartphone featured in Samsung’s promotional materials is fully consistent with the rumors and leaks we’ve seen so far. It has a lower hinge profile, which allows you to close the smartphone tightly, without the gap that was on previous models. Unfortunately, the side view doesn’t let you see the external screen, which is rumored to be much larger than the small screen on the Z Flip 4 – that would be a really big deal if the rumors are true.
Samsung is offering pre-order reservations by offering a $50 discount on pre-orders. The only requirement is to provide your name and email address. Bookings will be available from tonight until July 25th.
