Samsung Introduces The Galaxy Watch Ultra Smartwatch
At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung presented several more new devices, including the top-end smart watch Galaxy Watch Ultra – the new model is actually the successor to the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, but the manufacturer decided to bring the names of its products to a single standard, giving preference to the Ultra version.
The watch received a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 × 480 pixels and a brightness of 3000 cd/m2, protected by sapphire glass. The device is powered by the latest 5-core Exynos W1000 processor, manufactured using a 3nm process technology. Like the Galaxy Watch7, the new Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatch has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The device claims IP68 and MIL-STD-810H protection certificates, as well as water resistance up to 10 ATM. You can swim in salt water in them. In addition, they can withstand temperatures from -20 to +55 °C and operate in a wider range of altitudes: from 500 meters below sea level to 9 thousand meters above sea level.
The model is available exclusively in a 47 mm version with an LTE modem. The new product is powered by a 590 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is available for pre-order at a price of 699 euros and comes with a free strap, which costs 79 euros, but the device will only be available from July 24, when the new product goes on sale.
