New Macs with M4 and iPad Mini 7 to Launch November 1; Mac Studio, Mac Pro – in 2025
Updated versions of Apple’s Mac Studio and Mac Pro computers with the latest Apple M4 series processors will not hit the market anytime soon. According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, both devices will not be presented until the middle of next year, or even closer to the end of it.
Apple is planning to introduce an updated Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips. In addition, the iMac is also expected to get an update, and Apple’s all-in-one PC will finally switch to the M4 chip.
The new Macs with M4 and iPad Mini 7 will be released on November 1, and the Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and other new products will be released in 2025, according to Mark Gurman

An updated iPad mini is also reportedly on the horizon, with a potential release date of early November. This will be the first update to Apple’s smallest tablet since its 2021 redesign.
Gurman shared Apple’s hardware plans for the first half of 2025. The company is expected to introduce 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models based on the M4, a new iPhone SE with Apple Intelligence, updated 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models with corresponding new Magic Keyboards, and an updated AirTag.
The new Mac Studio is expected around mid-2025, with the Mac Pro following later in the year.
