8BitDo Micro: The Smallest Controller In The World
The well-known manufacturer of gaming accessories 8BitDo has released the Micro, a working Bluetooth controller the size of a pair of matchboxes. It is so small that it fits in the palm of your hand.
Despite its compact size, 8BitDo managed to squeeze 16 ports into the Micro port frame. There are L2, R2, Home, Star, X, Y, B, A buttons and Forward, Back, Left, and Right buttons. Button functions can be configured in the Ultimate Software 8BitDo proprietary application. The body of the device is plastic. According to the manufacturer, the controller is designed more for 2D games, and that its battery can last up to 10 hours on a single charge.
The Micro controller can connect to Nintendo Switch, Android or Raspberry Pi devices via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz or USB-C. Dimensions: 72 × 14 mm, weight – 24.8 grams.
8Bitdo Micro is available for pre-order now, with shipments starting August 24th. The accessory comes in two colors: Powder Blue and Lime Green. The cost of new items is $25.
