Anniversary Apple Watch X To Have A Big Change

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman shared information about Apple’s upcoming smartwatch, which the company plans to release before the device’s tenth anniversary.

The insider is confident that the likely Apple Watch X will receive a major redesign, similar to the iPhone X released in 2017 and the iPad in 2022.

According to the source, the Apple Watch X (10th generation), which is expected to be announced no earlier than 2024, will receive a noticeable redesign. The main innovation is the replacement of the strap attachment mechanism. It will be held on magnets, as a result of which it will be possible to reduce the thickness of the gadget’s body. In addition, the novelty will receive a micro-LED display that surpasses AMOLED solutions in terms of brightness and energy efficiency. Another expected innovation is a blood pressure monitoring sensor.

According to the analyst, the Apple Watch Series 9, which the company should show in September, will differ from the current model only with a faster processor – no other noticeable changes in their configuration are expected.

Since Apple Watch X will be timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the entire line of Apple watches, it is not easy to determine exactly when they will be shown. The very first Apple Watch was shown in 2014 and went on sale in 2015. It turns out that the anniversary version may appear in 2024 or 2025.
