Lenovo Introduced Legion Go S

At CES 2025, Lenovo officially announced the expansion of its Legion Go line, introducing the first SteamOS-based portable PC from a third-party manufacturer.

The main new product of the presentation was the Lenovo Legion Go S, which will be available in two versions – Windows and SteamOS.

Lenovo Legion Go S running Windows is a traditional device for gamers who want to have access to their favorite games wherever they are. The console is equipped with an 8-inch WUXGA PureSight display – this means that its resolution is 1920 × 1200 pixels, the aspect ratio is 16:10; the screen refresh rate is 120 Hz. The console is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor or an exclusive AMD Ryzen Z2 Go for this model; the RAM is up to 32 GB; the three-cell battery has a capacity of 55.5 Wh.

The Legion Go S weighs 730 g. A Wi-Fi 6E module and two USB4 ports are used to communicate with the outside world – you can connect a display and any other peripheral devices. There is also an additional version of the Legion Go S console – Powered by SteamOS, which, as you can guess from the name, runs on an operating system from Valve optimized for games.

Lenovo plans to launch the Legion Go S in May 2025. The expected price of the device will be $499
