Nintendo Announces Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct
On August 31, Nintendo will host a Direct entirely dedicated to Super Mario Bros. wonder. The broadcast will begin at 10:00 AM ET and will run for “approximately 15 minutes.” You can watch the event on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel, which is also hosted on its website.
Nintendo’s last Direct Direct took place on June 21 just a couple of months ago, and that’s where, after weeks of rumors, leaks, and speculation, Super Mario Bros. was first announced. wonder. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the game, but fans have been sorting through its trailer and all the released footage to find any clues and easter eggs they could.
Wonder is a side-scrolling platform game. The main novelty will be a miracle flower that causes Mario to trip: pipes come to life, the mustachioed plumber himself turns into a large prickly ball, and so on.
You can also play as other characters from the franchise, including Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, and Toada. The platformer features split-screen co-op for up to four people.
