FIFA 23 Will Add A Women’s Soccer League
EA Sports has announced the addition of a national women’s league in FIFA 23. The company announced this on its Twitter account. 12 women’s American clubs will appear in the game.
It is noted that all NWSL players will also become part of the franchise in the future after changing the name of the FIFA series to EA Sports FC.
In the latest edition of the game, women’s football received a lot of attention as more teams and tournaments were introduced than ever. Reaction has been quite positive and EA Sports seems to be focusing on adding more content.
The latest changes seem to be based on player feedback demanding more diversity in women’s soccer teams and tournaments. While FIFA 23 originally had a decent amount of variety, the community has always wanted more choice.
“The athletes that call the NWSL home are some of the best in the world and we’re excited for the opportunity to further showcase their talent through this unique gaming experience,” said NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman. “We can’t wait for fans to begin playing and we look forward to continuing this celebration of the players and the league when we kick off our 11th season on March 25.”
The teams will start the game on March 15. You can use them in all modes except Career and Ultimate Team.
