Casio Launches ‘Space’ G-Shocks Inspired By NASA Spacesuits 

Casio has released a new G-Shock model that takes inspiration from the orange suits that astronauts wear during flight and re-entry so they can be easily spotted by rescuers if their spacecraft crashes into the ocean.

The watch’s official page says that the watch’s black dial is a black visor on the helmets that astronauts wear with spacesuits, and the thin blue line on the dial imitates the blue elements of the spacesuits.

In addition, the watch strap loop is adorned with the American flag, and the image of an astronaut is engraved on the back of the case. Even the packaging matches the theme: The watch comes in a tin and box that also features NASA costumes.

This orange watch will set customers back $170. They will only be available for a limited time and can be purchased from the Casio website.
