Acer Reveals A 4K Gaming Monitor With A Frequency Of 150 Hz And HDR
The Acer family of gaming monitors has been expanded to include the XV282K V3. The screen of the new product boasts a high resolution and a decent refresh rate, as well as fast response. In addition, it received support for technologies designed to improve the gaming experience of users.
The Acer XV282K V3 is based on a 28-inch 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a response of 1 ms (GtG). The display contrast ratio is 1500:1, brightness is up to 400 cd/m2. It is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and has 90 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
The monitor is equipped with a pair of speakers with a power of 2 W each, supports AMD FreeSync Premium image synchronization technology and dynamic refresh rate change (VRR) in the range from 50 to 150 Hz to eliminate frame tearing in dynamic scenes.
The new product’s connectors include one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5 mm audio output. In addition, the monitor received an ergonomic stand with the ability to adjust the height of the screen above the table, as well as its angle of rotation and tilt.
The Acer XV282K V3 is priced at $430, making it one of the most affordable 4K gaming monitors on the market.
