Xiaomi to Unveil 15 Ultra Smartphone and 1,500-HP SU7 Ultra Sports Car on February 27
Xiaomi has officially confirmed the simultaneous presentation of two flagship products – the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone and the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle.
The first phase of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra debut took place on October 29 last year, when the main characteristics became known, which included three traction electric motors with a total capacity of 1,548 horsepower. Acceleration time to 100 km / h promised not to exceed 2 seconds, the maximum speed reaches 350 km / h, which is generally uncharacteristic for Chinese electric cars and emphasizes the sports orientation of the model. Recently it also became known that Xiaomi certified in China not only the five-seater version of the SU7 Ultra, but also a version with two seats in the cabin. Most likely, a similar interior option will go to the so-called “track” version of the car with improved dynamic characteristics
Both devices will debut on February 27. These models will be the most expensive in the company’s 15 years of activity. Xiaomi added that this is just the beginning of Xiaomi’s move towards the ultra-premium class.
According to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, the new Ultra models are the result of five years of high-tech developments by the company. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is positioned as a top camera phone, and the SU7 Ultra is positioned as a top electric car, which has already set several records.
