Mid-Range Smartphone Moto S50 Neo With Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 Introduced
In addition to the Razr 50 series clamshells with flexible screens, Motorola introduced in China a new S-series of smartphones and its first representative, the Moto S50 Neo.
This is a mid-range model equipped with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, which is complemented by 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of internal memory. Information is displayed on a 6.7-inch POLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A 5000 mAh rechargeable battery with 30 W charging support is responsible for autonomous operation.
On the back there is a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels. The Moto S50 Neo runs on Android 14 operating system.
Motorola offers the S50 Neo in three Pantone colors: Gray, Olivine and Surf. The latter two also boast a fabric-like nano-texture back panel with a skin-friendly and hard-wearing finish.
The Motorola S50 Neo costs 1,399 yuan ($192) for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version, 1,599 yuan ($220) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version, and 1,899 yuan ($261) for the 12 GB variant. RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory. Open sales of the device in China will begin on June 28.
