Xiaomi Showed A Teaser Of The Smartphone Xiaomi 13 Ultra
Xiaomi has announced the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, equipped with a quad-camera system developed in collaboration with the Leica brand. The main camera received a 1-inch sensor with a variable aperture.
In particular, Leica cameras are reminiscent of the ring-shaped main camera module. Also mentioned is the metal frame of the case, with 4.4 times the bending resistance.
The camera unit uses four lenses that cover a wide range of focal lengths (equiv.): 12mm ultra wide, 23mm wide, 75mm telephoto and the new 120mm super telephoto. In addition, the camera is able to zoom up to 240mm thanks to the In-Sensor-Zoom function.
Three of the four lenses in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra are faster than f/2.0 (the only exception is f/3.0 on the telephoto lens), and the main camera has an even more impressive feature: a variable aperture that can switch between f/1.9 and f/4. Xiaomi is not the first company to offer a variable aperture in a smartphone, and not even the first to place such a system in front of a large 1-inch sensor: Sony did it first with the Xperia Pro-I. But it’s still unusual, and the version of the optics in Xiaomi is slightly more aperture (f / 1.9 vs. f / 2).
The resolution of the front camera is 32 megapixels, and the lens aperture is f / 2.
The new material (second-generation nano-leather) does not turn yellow or change color over time. In addition, Xiaomi 13 Ultra has IP68 dust and water resistance, which will allow you to use it in the rain and other extreme creative conditions.
