Nintendo Unveils New Device: A Persistent Smart Alarm Clock That Costs $99
Japanese company Nintendo presented a new gadget. No, it is not the Nintendo Switch 2 console, but a smart alarm clock called Alarmo. It wakes you up with melodies from popular games and can track the user’s sleep.
The device stands out among other similar gadgets by having a motion sensor that can detect the user’s behavior upon waking up. If Sound Clock: Alarmo detects that the owner continues to lie in bed, it will begin to increase the volume of the music and add sound effects. Having achieved its goal, Sound Clock: Alarmo will reward the owner with festive music and calm down. To turn off the alarm, you don’t even need to touch it, you can immediately go to the shower.
Sound Clock: Alarmo can play alarm sounds inspired by five different Nintendo games, including Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4, Splatoon 3, and Ring Fit Adventure.
The Alarmo alarm clock from Nintendo will be sold in all countries where the company is represented from 2025. Most likely, sales will begin in winter. The cost is $99.99. The first to receive the gadget will be subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online – they can already pre-order the new product.
