BYD has already become the largest manufacturer of electric vehicles in the world, largely due to the popularity of its products in its home market of China. It is becoming difficult to compete with other players solely on price, so BYD has decided to open access to potential buyers to the company’s testing ground, where they can test drive the brand’s most expensive models.

The company has built several unique zones. Among them:

▶︎ A real race track 1,758 meters long, which includes nine turns and a 550-meter straight, where cars can reach speeds of up to 220 km/h.

▶︎ The world’s largest sand dune with a height difference of 29.6 meters and a slope of 28 degrees.

▶︎ A drifting track.

▶︎ A test site for testing car safety systems and autopilot.

▶︎ A road with artificial bumps to test the off-road capabilities of a car.

▶︎ A pool for fording.

The guest of the testing ground will be offered to swim inside the electric SUV YangWang U8. To participate in the program, it is enough to have $278 and an hour and a half of free time, and the list of accompanying entertainment will be quite diverse. For example, this amount includes a ride behind the wheel of a YangWang U9 sports car on a race track. Customers with a smaller budget, for example, for $80 or $139, will be able to do this only in the passenger seat of the same YangWang U9.

Even the cheapest program of visits includes express courses of driving on wet roads, so the organizers pursue not only entertaining but also educational goals. For those who did not have enough money for a trip behind the wheel of YangWang U9.
