Vivo Shows Off Upcoming Flagship X200 Pro
The official presentation of the flagship Vivo X200 smartphones will take place next week. In anticipation of this event, the manufacturer is trying to stir up interest in the new products by publishing a short promo video and an unboxing video of the flagship Vivo X200 Pro. Thanks to this, potential buyers can evaluate the design of the new Vivo smartphones right now.
The vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini will be the first devices to launch with the new Dimensity 9400 chip, and they have already shown their might in the AI-Benchmark test. This test evaluates smartphones based on their ability to handle AI-related tasks and gives a score that reflects their performance capabilities in this aspect. The X200 Pro scored an impressive 10,132 points, putting it in first place, while the X200 Pro Mini came in second with 10,095 points. These results are significantly higher than the previous vivo X100 and X100 Pro models, which were equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chip.
The Dimensity 9400 chipset is equipped with MediaTek’s 8th generation NPU (neural processing unit), which enables the flagships to use the next wave of generative AI innovations. According to the company’s tests, it delivers 100% higher diffusion generation performance and 80% higher LLM hint performance, while consuming 30% less power compared to its predecessor. In addition to the powerful chip, the X200 series devices (at least the Pro models) also use the V3 image processing chip for better detail and color processing. This enables high-quality HDR video recording across the entire zoom range, while Smooth Zoom technology makes it easier to capture moving subjects while reducing power consumption during 4K60 video recording.
Vivo’s flagship lineup, including the X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini, is scheduled to launch on October 14.
