Studio Tango Gameworks Introduced Its New Game ”Hi-Fi Rush”
Tango Gameworks, the authors of Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo, announced their new project called Hi-Fi Rush as part of the Developer_Direct presentation.
The game tells about a hero who wants to become a rock star and fights against numerous enemies under a given beat. The developers note that the game will be easy to learn, and even beginners will quickly join it. Hi-Fi Rush’s game director is John Yohanas, who previously led the development of The Evil Within 2.
Tango promises that each level is different both externally and musically. Each “department” in the corporation has its own style of rock music, and different mechanics appear in boss battles. The game’s soundtrack is composed of both original and licensed songs from various bands and artists, including Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, The Black Keys, Number Girl, and The Joy Formidable.
Hi-Fi Rush will be available on PC and Xbox on January 26th. The game will immediately appear in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
