Samsung Releases Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro In The Push-Button E700 Style
South Korean manufacturer Samsung has presented a collector’s version of the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro smartphone in the style of the push-button clamshell Samsung E700 from 2003. This is reported in the news section on the company’s website.
The new Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro features the same iconic blue and silver colors as the original E700. The new product also received some user interface elements with pixel graphics and an animated city landscape on the external Flex Window screen in the style of a regular phone interface.
Samsung will ship the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro in a box with Z Flip5 and E700 logos, as well as Flipsuit cards with stickers featuring various Samsung logos from past eras. Also included is a Samsung E700 collector’s card with a standard serial number.
The new retro-style product will be released in limited edition and will go on sale from November in Korea, UK, Germany, Spain, Australia and France. As stated, in these countries, buyers “can purchase this iconic device exclusively on the official Samsung website.” The cost has not yet been disclosed.
