Minecraft Legends Will Be Released On April 18
Mojang talked more about Minecraft Legends during the Developer_Direct broadcast, showing off much more gameplay, in particular PvP.
Minecraft Legends is an action game with strategic elements in which a brave knight and assistants will have to repel a dangerous threat to the world. With all the familiar blocky visuals of the Minecraft setting, Minecraft Legends will be an action-packed strategy game. Users will be able to explore different biomes inhabited by all sorts of creatures, trying to gather strength to fight evil.
While there will be co-op, this gameplay demo was mostly about PvP, with two teams pitted against each other. This is due to Mojang’s development partnership with Blackbird Interactive, a studio that is also working on Homeworld 3.
Minecraft Legends will release on April 18, 2023 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The game will be available on Game Pass from the moment of release.
