Microsoft Deploys AI In The Classroom
Microsoft announced new AI-powered classroom tools today. It will help students sharpen their speaking and math skills, as children prepare for an even more technologically enhanced world. They are Soeaker Progress and Math Coach.
Speaker Progress is a new tool for AI teachers. It saves time by streamlining the process of creating, reviewing, and reviewing speech and presentation assignments for students, groups, and classes. It can provide a neat summary of presentation skills while highlighting areas for improvement. In addition, it allows teachers to view student records, identify student needs, and track progress.
Math Coach breaks down problems by taking students step by step to solve them, encouraging critical thinking. Math Progress is also a teacher-focused support tool that helps them generate practice questions and provide more effective feedback. These features work together: Math Coach uses teacher data from Math Progress to develop new lessons. In addition, it states that schools can use general math fluency data to track progress and better achieve their goals.
Speaker Progress and Math Coach will launch in Microsoft Teams for Education in the 2023-24 school year.
