Google Introduced Pixel 7 And Pixel 7 Pro
As expected, the Made by Google 2022 event took place today, during which the IT giant introduced new devices. In addition to use, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the company’s new smartphones based on the Tensor G2 hardware platform, were introduced to the general public.
The devices received a design similar to previous versions. The Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz, which has a built-in fingerprint scanner. According to the company, it is 25% brighter than the Pixel 6.
The base model will have 128 GB and 256 GB of storage.
The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. According to Google, the peak brightness of the screen is 20% higher, which will help when viewing content in brightly lit places. The screen is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus which is water, dust and scratch resistant.
Rear camera: 50MP primary (f/1.85) and 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2). Front camera 10.8-megapixel with face unlock support.
Camera panel: 50MP primary (f/1.85), 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2) and 48MP telephoto (f/3.5). The front camera is also 10.8-megapixel with face unlock support. Users will be able to record videos up to 4K60 on the rear camera and 4K30 on the selfie camera.
The device will ship with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
The Pixel 7 will start at $599 and the Pixel 7 Pro will start at $899. The company opens pre-orders on October 6 in 17 countries, and the devices will go on sale on October 13.
