EA App For PC Released To Replace Origin
The new app will simply be called EA app. There is no grand idea that EA is trying to implement with this platform. It explains that the EA app is designed to be lightweight, fast, and streamlined so that PC players can easily find and play the games they want.
According to the developers, the stage of open beta testing of the EA app is officially completed, the application will soon replace Origin and become the company’s main PC platform. It is also noted that the EA app is the fastest and easiest PC client from Electronic Arts.
The EA app is out of open beta and supports a unified friends list across Steam, Xbox and PlayStation. According to Electronic Arts, the new application has a simpler design and automatically downloads games and updates.
The developers also noted that all local and cloud saves will be automatically transferred to the new application. MacOS users will still have to use Origin.
