Canon EOS R8 Specs Leak Online

Canon EOS R8 full-frame mirrorless camera is preparing for release. It will be a hybrid photo/video camera designed for a wide range of users, from advanced hobbyists to professional photographers, YouTubers and content creators.

Canon EOS R8 received a 24 megapixel CMOS-matrix. Exactly the same sensor is used in the more advanced Canon EOS R6 Mark II. The Canon EOS R8 also received a DIGIC X processor from the same model. The main difference from the Canon EOS R6 Mark II (which costs $2500) is the absence of an IBIS matrix image stabilization system.

However, the Canon EOS R8 received support for optical image stabilization (OIS) with compatible lenses, as well as Canon Movie Digital IS digital video stabilization technology.

The international price of the EOS R8 has also been announced: the body is $1499, the standard kit with the RF24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is $1699.

The official presentation should take place on February 8.
