AMD To Release The Radeon Pro W7700 Video Card With 16 GB Of Video Memory
In the near future, AMD will release a new professional graphics card for workstations called the Radeon PRO W7700. The manufacturer hinted at it as part of the presentation of the Threadripper 7000 series processors.
The new product should fill a noticeable performance gap between the Radeon PRO W7800 and Radeon PRO W7600. There is little information about the new map yet. It is known that it will receive 16 GB of memory. This data was confirmed by Dell, which indicated the Radeon PRO W7700 as a future option for its Precision 7875 workstations.
It is very likely that the Radeon PRO W7700 will be based on the Navi 32 graphics processor, which debuted last month as part of the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT gaming graphics cards. The chip configuration for the Radeon PRO W7700 is unknown. Most likely, this will be a full-fledged version of Navi 32, especially considering that the same Radeon PRO W7800 uses a more powerful Navi 31 GPU.
The cost and start date of sales have not been specified.
