Vivo V50 Lite 5G Unveiled

Vivo has unveiled the mid-budget smartphone V50 Lite. Contrary to the main positioning of the V-series (improved front camera), the new product places its main emphasis on the battery: a 6500 mAh silicon-carbon battery is installed inside, which supports fast 90-watt charging.

The V50 Lite 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which replaces the Snapdragon 685 in the 4G model. The smartphone offers 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 or 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is no microSD card slot. The new processor not only provides 5G support, but also offers a more modern version of Bluetooth – 5.4 instead of 5.0.

The smartphone’s 6500 mAh battery, according to Vivo, is capable of retaining at least 80% of its capacity even after 5 years of use, and a full charge is enough for about 10 hours of gaming.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G features a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, and peak brightness of up to 1800 nits. There’s an optical fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the screen, and a 32MP front camera at the top.

The first sales of the Vivo V50 Lite will take place in Turkey, where the smartphone in the 8/256 version will cost 18,990 lira.
