Redmi K80 Unveiled – Xiaomi Smartphone with the Largest Battery

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi K80 smartphone. With a very competitive price, a very capacious battery, and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the device should, according to the manufacturer, “deliver exceptional performance across the board.” Importantly, the smartphone is dust and water resistant.

Redmi K80 received a screen with a resolution of 2K, a frame rate of 120 Hz and a local peak brightness of 3200 cd / sq.m, a battery with a capacity of 6550 mAh with support for 90-watt charging, an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner.

The main module of the main camera is exactly the same as the Redmi K80 Pro – with a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 800 sensor of 1/1.55-inch optical format and an optical image stabilization system. The list of Redmi K80 specifications also includes stereo speakers, an IR emitter, an NFC chip, and IP68/IP69 dust and water protection.

Redmi K80 is available in four colours: Obsidian Black, Snow White, Mountain Green and Moonlight Blue. The smartphone is available in five configurations with the following prices:

• Redmi K80 16GB RAM + 256GB storage: 2699 yuan ($372)
• Redmi K80 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: 2899 yuan ($400)

• Redmi K80 16GB RAM + 1TB storage: 3599 yuan ($496)
