The Crew Dragon Ship With Cosmonauts Docked To The ISS
The Crew Dragon Endeavor spacecraft of the American aerospace company SpaceX, which was launched yesterday as part of the Crew-8 mission, successfully docked to the International Space Station.
The launch of the Crew Dragon spacecraft with the crew of Crew-8 took place yesterday, February 4, from the Kennedy Space Center near Florida.
After opening the transfer hatches, the crew will join the 70th ISS expedition – Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko, Mikoli Chuba and Kostyantina Borisova, NASA astronauts Jasmine Moghbeli and Loral O’Gare, astronaut mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) Andreas Mogensen and astronaut of the Japanese agency JAXA Satoshi Furukavi.
The Crew-8 crew will stay on the ISS for 6 months, and the four participants of the previous Crew-7 mission – Borisov, Mogbeli, Mogensen and Furukawa, who arrived at the station last August, will soon go home: approximately after March 11.
