Nothing Introduced Phone (2a)
The Chinese company Nothing introduced Nothing Phone 2A – the first budget smartphone in its history. Sales of the gadget in India and Europe will start on March 12 at a price starting from € 329.
Nothing Phone 2a retains the main visual features of the manufacturer’s smartphones: a partially transparent body and LED strips (the company calls the backlight system Glyph).
Nothing Phone (2a) is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, which is made using an improved 4nm TSMC process technology and includes eight cores with a frequency of up to 2.8 GHz. The smartphone received 8 or 12 GB of RAM with the possibility of virtual expansion by another 8 GB. For data storage there are 128 or 256 GB of flash memory.
The smartphone is equipped with a large 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 × 1084 pixels, a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m2 and a variable refresh rate of 30–120 Hz. The smartphone runs Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14, and the manufacturer promises three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
The main camera received a dual 50 megapixel module: main and wide-angle. The front camera received a 32 megapixel sensor.
The Nothing Phone (2a) is available for pre-order on nothing.tech starting today and will ship from March 12th. The version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory is priced at 329 euros, and the version with 12 and 256 GB of memory will cost 379.
