iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max
Towards the end of the Wonderlust presentation, Apple officially showed the older iPhone 15 models – Pro and Pro Max. These smartphones received the most innovations and were not as expensive as analysts predicted.
The iPhone 15 Pro has a 6.1-inch screen, while the Pro has a 6.7-inch screen. Both Super Retina XDR with ProMotion, Ceramic Shield and record thin bezels. The processor was updated to Apple A17 Pro: 3 nm, 6-core GPU, hardware support for ray tracing and MetalFX upscale for games. Resident Evil Village, a remake of Resident Evil 4, Death Stranding and Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released for new smartphones. The Neural Engine has also been improved – it now runs up to two times faster.
The A17 Pro also received an AV1 decoder. Both smartphones are equipped with a second generation Ultra Wideband chip. We also added support for Wi-Fi 6E. MagSafe and Qi2 support is in place. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max offer a 48MP primary camera sensor. It is possible to change the focal length in the main camera: 24 mm, 28 mm and 35 mm. By default, the main camera shoots with a resolution of 24 megapixels. In addition to 48MP ProRAW, users can take photos in 48MP HEIF format. You can record 4K/60 ProRes video to the device or directly to an external drive connected via USB-C.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be released on September 22. Prices start at $999 and $1199 respectively. The price is for models with a storage capacity of 128 GB and 256 GB in the case of Pro and Pro Max.
